Holy night

“The stars awoke,
he said… this is the last one I swear.
Lighten up a cigarette
and lie on the grass, unaware of the men
who rapped his French maid on the states.
He had a couple of coins on her pocket
and a handful of dreams under his hat.

And the stars revolved,
he was the sun,
eclipsed himself behind the moon.

The fresh air got his mouth
after the last puff of his stub.
All the smoke purged on the air.

And the stars witnessed his sleep
while the dreams went out of his hat.

The little stars had to say goodbye,
all the dewdrops clean the sorrow.
It had to start sometime,
and that time had come. “

“I miss you like the river on the top of a mountain,

who once saw the sea…

and cried himself down until he reached it.”
